At the risk of getting into a tangle with you--and since I have sign off now and get this sty I call home in fit shape to welcome main squeeze--what is wrong with lust, except that is the perversion of healthy desire? (Consider C. S. Lewis's The Great Divorce for a more extensive explanation of what I mean.)

Come to think of it, aren't all the "major sins" such as gluttony, covetousness, lust, and the like the perversions of healthy urges toward nourishment, ambition, and desire?

"Love" without faithfulness is merely "lust" and I don't approve of lust.

When our relationship has returned to health, we should discuss (but not argue about) this statement.
