From Viet News today COMPUTERIZED LOTTERY INTRODUCED IN HA NOI Ha Noi, Aug. 10 (VNA) -- The Ha Noi Construction Lottery Company launched a computerized lottery system, the first in Viet Nam, in Ha Noi on Aug. 9. The on-line lottery includes a server connecting with 300 electronic terminals in the city. The USD 4.7-million project has been carried out with foreign partner the Applied Gaming Solutions (AGS) of Canada, which is also responsible for installation, system operation, staff training, operation consultation and technology transfer. The lottery system provides daily lotto 1-2-3 and weekly lotto 6x36, which aims to eradicate illegal gambling in Ha Noi.--VNA vnagency.com.vn

From another Viet paper today On-line lottery system opens (VNS)- An on-line lottery system applying information technology in management and operations was inaugurated here yesterday. The system has three parts: host computers, terminals and a communications system. Canada - US Consortium, AGS co-operated with Construction Lottery of Hanoi City to open the on-line lottery.
