Paul, by PnF standards AMAT is still on a buy signal, but
- as you said - will get another one when it hits 80.
As for a price target, I don't have one. I do look at
SEMI equipment orders and try to guess when they will
peak. We'll probably see a split before that happens.
Splits have marked peaks in stock price the last two
times. finance.yahoo.com

[AMAT is a small portion of my portfolio, so I'm not
as anxious about it. But it is one of two stocks I have
that correlate to something I can chart: orders]

Paul V,

Someday our Long Distance Runner AMAT will live up to our expectations... but, right now, the Stock feels exhausted with still many laps to go --- that's the problem with Sprinting too early in the Bull Run.

A month or two or so ago, I mentioned about the DOW 30 aging and surrendering the leadership to the Late Bloomers headed by AMAT. What we are seeing now is the DOW 30 still on its way Down for the YoYo Drop --- while AMAT and the Sox are on their way Up for the YoYo Catch... but the way Up for AMAT have Jogs too many.

As the increasing Flock of On-line Traders find their way to play AMAT, we find the Stock Jogging back and forth more often. For the more enterprising among us AMAT Watchers, these new DanceSteps are a pretty sight.
