Anyone who has been around this stock for awhile knows how poorly it has been managed, and further cuts can't hurt IMHO. The last management just sat by and let it rot. I see no reason to run, these moves are old hat for this stock. IMO downside is pretty limited. Can only go to $0.00

If the prospect of a 100% loss does not seem significant, then that means that a 100% gain (a double) won't be significant for you either. Which begs the question, why stay in the stock at all?

Apple is 100% different animal, with a strong consumer brand and a media lightning rod for an iCEO. SGI has neither.

FWIW I have no position in SGI, and I am a big fan in general. But so far, I have not see the moves yet that are going to allow SGI to make it as an independent company.
