If I was a OEM I'd add the Athlon immediately, BECAUSE, when it takes off I'd want to be first in line for the chips. IMHO, Dell and Gateway run the risk of being outflanked by some other boxmakers. It this business you can't give the other guy any advantage for long or you'll slip back in the pack.

Agreed. It is a mother board supply problem. I've waited this long; I can wait another couple of months. This platform has so much potential, and it's just getting going. Any guesses on when they will scale the bus to 400 Mhz?
