You comment that AOL did well in this market.

I agree completely. Based on AOL's close today at $85 and volume of 26 million shares, neither the price change nor the volume was statistically significant, that is, both fell within plus-or-minus one standard deviation from the past month's trading averages. Though insignificant statistically as a single trading day, I consider it part of the short-term bottom that began last Thursday and still target between 90 and 100, probably by options expiration at the end of next week.
