Hi Dave, The BS from DC smells like DODO!

I agree that retiring high interest bonds would be good overall. I guess they still have to face up to the fact that there's no real surplus, only a budget surplus.

Hi Dave, Look how the market perks up when they've heard the IDIOT WAVE has dropped out of High Risk. Think what they'd do if the market was back in the Low Risk area!!!

dave---excellanr post---as always. never thought about the buyback at lower rates. i "re-fied" my home in the spring, so i guess the gov should take the same advantage.
