RMBS doesn't offer clear cost/performance benefits in the near term I believe that is because it is not yet available in mass quantities. When production is ramped up and DRAM makers start competing, the price will come down. Look at Apple's product line for the last 5 or so years. They always seem to be 6 months later than the Intel pcs in implementing memory architecture (and motherboard speed), or at least that is the impression I have. But, don't get me wrong, I love Macs and have used them for years, and will continue to. Can't wait to get an iBook. FWIW, long RMBS, flat AAPL.
