What is fruitless is an investment at 6 1/4 on 6/29/98, the day I began raising (unpopular) issues on this thread, that is at 5 1/2 and falling on 8/10/99. You suggested that the investor had information that you did not have - "better" information, you called it. In ways that you apparently are unaware, that was an insightful confession. The truth is you have not liked what I have had to say from the first day I posted. The truth is, if you had considered it and tried to understand it, you would have saved yourself a 12% loss in almost 14 months. The opportunity loss amounts to much more in a market that has gone up substantially over the same time. Your relative performance in this stock is atrocious. It was clear in June 1998 that it would be so. The truth is, your "argues for the sake of argument" has as many holes as VLNC did at $10 in December.
