tax purposes...yeah, that was my plan,
convert the IRA to a Roth.

If share prices move partly based on mood,
and one can count on stocks being cheap at
the maximum point of pessimism...then
we are there right now on Ariad. Of
course I've always felt there could be
another shake out if we break below a
buck and delisting fears increase.

You would not think that a company could
have management who could so completely
fall into such a big trap, these fellas
make terrific salaries, you would hope
they would make better choices.

No matter...I've said this all a dozen times,
let's see if Ariad can do something nice for
shareholders for a change, they seem to do
miracles in the lab--maybe they're clever
enough not to kill the company.

Much thanks to everybody who posted on the floorless,
it's got me fairly rattled, but I think we all know
Ariad is worth more than 20-25M, maybe five times
that...and it'll probably work out okay with time--
folks usually don't make the same mistake twice,
Berger will probably go to Hoechst for help before
he goes back to the 'bad guys' again.
