telebob,
as proven time and again (in bondholder forgiveness, etc.), that this company is not going bankrupt. I think it's no longer a question: there would be dilution of shareholders. the question is by how much.
the more debt goes for equity, the better it would be for MOT if it goes alone.

when a company is being dissolved, (in most cases) by the time it gets to common holders, nothing is left. as i have said before, this company is unlike any other company. the parties are rich and the stakes are high.

The way I see it, the possibility of this stock going to 12 is more likely than 0.

BUT when it comes to the bottom line, listen only to yourself. No one on this board can be always right. No matter how much "smart" they think they are.

if you care about this company, you should wonder more on what will happen to the $90M payment 5 days from now. the deadline may be pushed if negotiations are moving in the right direction. IMO, as always.
