Michelle - I think I will definitely look at shorting PCLN again tomorrow (I'll wait until after open to see if the market rallies).

It's surprising that the nets should rally today on the revelation of the 10% stake that Janus has in Amazon (apparently it is 10% of the outstanding shares - per the article, Janus owns 16,526,204 shares). I can only guess that Janus has lost a lot of money on the position, as it appears that they have been accumulating a lot of these shares since Amazon's decline began in April.

Thanks,
-Eric

>>Jan - when Janus says they have 10.1% of Amazon, what do they mean exactly - 10% of the float? Can't be the outstanding shares...

Janus filed a 13G stating ownership of 16.6 mil shares which is a little more than 10% of the company.

AMZN S/O = 161.6 mil shares
Float = 63 mil shares

Good luck to all,
