Agreed. It is good for a long position.

p.s. If both outstanding and float were enlarged by partial bond-coversion shares, then that's good for Amzn too.

Jan - you're assuming that the institutions do not have sufficient motivation to sell. I can only think that Janus has taken a pretty big hit on their accumulation of AMZN over the past four months, and they must be evaluating the soundness of this investment.
