I'm Ba-a-a-a-a-k! Hi, Guys. Bought back in about where I left months and months ago. SEEK is going to go somewhere (and it ain't down). Gimme GO, and look below:

** Disney takes family Net guide offline

The Walt Disney Company's (DIS) family-friendly guide to the
Internet, Disney Internet Guide, has been closed. Visitors to the
URL, dig.com, are greeted by the Disney.com front page. Dig was
seen as a family-friendly portal for the Web. It was introduced
about 14 months ago, soon after the company acquired a large stake
in Infoseek, which subsequently led to the company's creation of
the Go Network. A Disney spokeswoman said Dig was dropped to
highlight Infoseek as its primary search brand, CNET reported.

Yeah, Tom. It's been killing me since the latest deal was announced. Imagine, at least before we were being bought at $50 a share. Now look at us. And we were in 80's before this started. Breaks my heart.

Remember those days when seek was filled with potential? What are we filled with now? I'm just so disappointed with Motro for letting it happen this way. Makes the lcos deal look smart in comparison.

BTW, can't be bothered with the go.com thread anymore. How many times can the same people post the same things over and over until they kill each other.
