All this talk about freshly picked berries makes me laugh.

I make all different flavors of homemade jams and jellies, some of which I sell locally...anyway, if we are driving down the road and see berry bushes, my children say, "mom, don't stop. We don't want to pick berries." Especially when we see Elderberry bushes! I now buy most of berries already picked, but still fresh from the local farms.
Occasionally my one friend and I must get out into the berry fields, to pick and eat berries. We call it therapy!!!! The call to plan these outings usually goes something like this, "So you in need of going for some therapy??"
