RE <<While we all wait. That's a good one. That's what AMDolts have been doing since way back....You haven't been around long enough to remember Maxwell and the posts we used to trade regarding the K7 "foils". Well Maxwell is long gone and we still have nothing but foils. MIA-thlon foils. Chipset foils. Motherboard foils. That's all though. You could easily prove me wrong if there were any available, just post a link to any place that claims to be shipping MIA-thlon systems NOW. But you can't and you know it. Some day they will ship but that day hasn't come yet. Come to terms with it.>>

Elmer, you missed the whole point of the post......Did you see the movie or not?!! And if you did, what did you think?

Elmer,

well lets start with the SPEC numbers old boy.

You have been fudding here about the relative numbers AMD published a few months ago.

You alleged a whole bunch of crap.

AMD finally published the actuals a few days ago and they matched or exceeded the initial Dirk numbers.

You complained about them again. They didn't use the max Intel numbers you said.

When it was pointed out that that this 3% delta was caused by Intels customer using 256 DRAM. You shut up about the numbers.

Then u complained about the fact that AMD had used a non-available MB. By your logic AMD had a super fast MB they may have used for the SPEC tests. Perhaps the real parts on the later rev MB's will perform like dogs you say ( a strange form of logic).

This whole line of BS is an embarrasment to yourself.
Accept reality........the K7 is a great design...period.

You are absolutely right about the lack of availability. It is of great concern and i have posted my thoughts on this second announcement of pending production. It stinks and the amd longs need to accept that too.

Kash
