Offended? No, depending on your definition of offend. I go back to my dog poo analogy. Dog poo does not offend me- it is merely an annoyance that I do not wish to step in. It is not grave enough, or important enough to rise to the level of offense.

Now, all things sexual do not offend me, in fact very little offends me. It is almost impossible TO offend me. But that does not me I like everything posted here. TO me, CH's sexual forays had an odd realistic quality that was not as "fun" as some of the other sexual banter here (most of which I find merely sophomoric and boring- like highschool kids at lunch break). CH's "fun" is creepy- but again not in a way that rises to offense. And I just skip most of his posts now- which is fine.

So although I have said it over and over let me say ti again, in caps- I DO NOT OFFEND, I AM NOT UPSET- if I think something is boring or tasteless or stupid or childish of trite or sophomoric or disgusting etc etc I will continue to say so, but unless I actually say "I AM UPSET", I am not.

Thanks for this posting, E. I know that you understood that Chris and I were merely playing and trying to clear the air after the hostilities had gotten out of hand so upsettingly. As I have said, neither of us had any intention of offending anyone's sensibilities.

And I agree that it would be an appropriate topic to discuss matters of taste and how we differ in what we each find acceptable. For example, Terry's and Jim's role-playing game of last night might easily have been offensive to some, even though I recognized it as a joke they shared and so did not feel offended. (It was a bit tasteless, however.)

BTW, I just tried the site you called to our attention and I, too, am uneasy. One can remove the listing, but did you notice that it is not a toll-free number that one is supposed to call to confirm the delisting?
