i missed the monday night game, but it was against the girls. and the girls have had no d for a while. i want to see couch going against the zone blitz team like pittsburgh. couch is not expected to start, so it may be 1/2 a season before we see him with any meaningful time in the regular season.

I think you're right about Couch. It was the first time I ever saw him play and I came away impressed. Initially, it will be tough for him to play against a first string defense instead of the rag-tags he saw on Monday night... but it does look like a promising future for the Browns at QB.

Easy Tom,
Couch did look good, but it was against the 2nd & 3rd string cowboys "D".
Aikman played against the Browns 1st "D".
He looks promising, but wait till he's against a Blitzing 1st team "D".
