I think the key today is not the futures or pre-market trading but where the leaders stand 30 - 60 minutes after trading starts.

Light volume, people on vacation, Fed uncertainty, more economic numbers due out tomorrow.....not a great recipe for sustained gains.

That's why I will keep my CSCO short even if it gaps and runs a bit. I am still pretty sure I can cover it under 57 eventually. I may have to wait a week or two at worst.
