Sitting here waitin' for the lights to go out thanks to the eclipse. Should be most visible here over the next hour.

I don't remember the ORCL story as far as news, but a routine earnings report like CSCO generally doesn't produce a prolonged gap in a shaky market.

If we get a sustained upturn my longs will more than make up for the CSCO short, by a long shot. A one-point move in DIGL is worth more than a 3-point jiggle in CSCO, for example.

Not to mention the few dozen other longs I still hold.

New topic - retail stocks. Briefing mentioned that the retail sector was beaten down now with some good values.

My favorites in priority order are: ANN, TOM, AEOS, CBUK and WTSLA.

Any TA comments on those?
