If you find out how to, please let me know as well. Within Chicago, I moved approx. 4 miles, and saw my connection go from 53kbps to 26kbps. Turns out the building wiring is not twisted pair, so the line has noise on it that impedes the connection speed. There is nothing I can do short of rewiring my unit, and that's not feasible considering I'm 7 stories from the main telephone closet. Switching to cable internet access soon anyway, so I'm living with the slow connection.
