Those restrictions are posted on the CNBC website. Basically, if you owned it before you came to work on CNBC, you dont have to sell it, but you cant buy any more.. You can hold mutual funds, but you can't pimp for that fund.

My favorite part is the guest call-in segments. The actual method is the guest analyst pre-selects the calls an hour in advance, and picks the stocks he wishes to hype or slam. Those are then the callers who (after being on hold) get on the air. What a scam.
