You could well be right - there's no doubt a lot of nervousness on the short side - they have had it their way for so long - and some may be getting trigger happy suddenly. d

As I have been posting it could be heated tensions between china and taiwan and as Hutch posted a while back the devaluation of yuan can be coming sooner than expected :-)
of course just speculating
