ENCR- EXPECTING TO HEAR NEWS VERY SOON
ON COMPLETIONS OF WEB SITE..

(COMTEX) B: Encounter.com Inc. To Launch Singlescasino.com
B: Encounter.com Inc. To Launch Singlescasino.com

DENVER, Jul 16, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) -- The directors of
Encounter.com Inc. (OTC BB:ENCR) announced that the company will
proceed to develop an interactive casino site for singlestogo.com.

The casino site will employ avatar software which brings static online
communication by players to life with lifelike interactive characters
in a realistic environment.

Singlescasino.com will initially offer a series of life like online
blackjack tables where singles can place bets, chat with other players
and move from table to table in a lifelike setting. This will provide a
fun, relaxing environment for singles to interact and an additional
profit center for Encounter.com.

Revenue for interactive gaming on the Internet is estimated to
currently represent only $1.5 billion of the $900 billion U.S. gambling
revenue (source: Interactive Gaming Summit - 1999), but is growing
exponentially and is very profitable. Singlescasino.com will be the
first site to capitalize on a dual strategy combining singles chat
services with a fun gaming site.
