Thanks Joe, I'm also dabbling in AKLM at the moment, looks like a bargain to me at 6 3/8 or so, got new stuff coming out for new video game machines this fall, Sega Dreamcast, Sony Playstation 2 and Nintendo Dolphin.

"GLEN COVE, N.Y.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Aug. 9, 1999-- Acclaim Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKLM - news), a
leading worldwide interactive entertainment company, today announced plans for the next generation of gaming through software
and technology development for the next wave of hardware platforms. The Company is one of the only third party publisher's that

"NEW YORK (CBSMW) -- Video game stocks haven't been scoring very highly lately, but
analyst Sean McGowan thinks the best of times may be coming soon.

After an unusually sluggish reaction to the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) last May, the
sector is slowly climbing toward what could be an explosive year end.

"I think this is going to be the best Christmas that the video game
industry has ever seen in terms of unit sales and dollar sales,"
said McGowan, who tracks the industry for Gerard Klauer

"McGowan: Yeah, I think Acclaim (AKLM: news, msgs) stands
a pretty good chance of doing better than expected in its fourth
quarter -- they are on an August fiscal year -- they have got quite
a number of titles, highlighted by a wrestling title, which is their
last WWF wrestling title.

"GLEN COVE, N.Y.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Aug. 10, 1999--Acclaim Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:AKLM - news), a
leading worldwide interactive entertainment company, today announced that its supercharged radio-controlled (R/C) car racing game,
Re-Volt, will ship to stores on August 18th."

Maybe a touch early, but I'm in.

Cheers
