yes, James, i think you have the 'situation' pegged...

this fellow we are speaking of said to go short on yahoo, then suddenly goes long because of some news item he spotted...

i can't switch my positions very easily, for one thing, there are spreads and commmissions and secondly, i cannot lurk on here to see what the crown prince of b-shit advises us peasants to do with these volatile stocks..for a long time i've had the sinking feeling this person is hoping to create a market for his options..

myself, i have puts on yhoo, amzn and ebay and they expire jan, oct and oct respectively.
