Hi Ann. New SI. Let us know if you hear anything about this new SI thing. Margaret asked me what happens if they shut the old SI down. I am beginning to wonder about this more and guess I'd better check into it. Like Margaret said: Are we going to be off SI if we have not done anything? I guess it was Tony that said the new SI looks more like the Yahoo thread. I certainly don't like that format. I have not clicked on to your links to see what happens of fear I am going to be clocked in. gg. That's what you call being paranoid. I guess I'd better look at those links.

About this down payment on a new small car yesterday. I guess I did not make my statement very clear. I had lost enough earlier in the day that one could buy a smallish car with. Luckily my portfolio ended up better. About a 300 dollar loss.
Today it's a mixed bag. Some things are up others are down. Not a particular great day for me considering where the market is. Those nets are all over the place. Intel is doing great.

I think people ARE getting more crazy. 24 hour news channels have been here for some time now. I never heard of that many mass shootings before in such a short time frame. Unless you want to look at those roaring twenties and those guys were after gains and not just for who knows what.

Csco gave the whole tech sector a lift today. The market was up from the getgo until there was a rumor on the floor that Greenspan would be resigning after the next meeting. That took care of the gains. I wonder who would do this? I am sure it wasn't the bulls. But things smoothed over again and the Beige book came in great. No inflation in sight. But I would not be surprised if someone will find something to squak about. Not so far.

Let us know if you hear something on this SI thing.

I just noticed our old dog up over 3 at 37. Hm.

Techno Wiz hasn't been on the thread in a long time. I have not received an email in some time either. I used to be on the list but when I changed cpts I guess I lost out.
