I agree, which is why I find ahhaha's observations interesting. With his market experience, he should have a pretty good idea of what the bottom line is for the average day trader. I have also heard from many sources that the vast majority of day traders lose over the long term. I am not a day trader, nor do I know enough about the market to conclude one way or the other. There clearly are some who have made and are making a bundle by day trading. The question in my mind is if they are lucky (even extended luck), or if they really are understanding market variability at a deeper level. Don't know, just asking.

Since I am no longer in ATHM, I can think about theoretical issues "-)
