It has been explained to me that this time MM's are accumulating inventory for a "melt up" on good news. In the past it was prudent to sell on good news. This time it may just cause a continued surge up in prices causing all shorts to run for cover. All of this is conjecture and not based on any material facts. We'll just have to wait and see, won't we? According to Zack's, earnings are due out today. I'm not expecting much there, but hopefully the CC will be more promising.
