I found GSB in a news release on LLND, another S & L screwed by the feds. LLND sued the feds and were rewarded only $21 million on March 6. I bought 5000 shares of LLND for 25 cents/share in 1992. But the facts are a curious thing, and I think all these supervisory goodwill suits have strong merits. No word on LLND appealing.

Will GSB shareholders get any benefit from winning the suit or just the holders of the litigation warrants?

At any rate using multiples of regional bank and S&L private buyouts, GSB would sell for $47.62. Throw in a windfall from litigation, and we're talking seriously undervalued.

Any word on GSB's appeal?
