<The market is about to do
something it has not had to do in many years -- it will come face to face with inflation.>

The ppi numbers will soothe the nerves of the worry warts. The worst is behind us, guy! nem and the inets, coming off their bottoms.

The best of all worlds!

Robert <This is testing.> The test will fail Have you given any thought to
why NEM is up so much today? The market is about to do something it has
not had to do in many years -- it will come face to face with inflation.<<

I disagree with this and Nem up a whole point today lets all jump on board i notice the volume is decreasing with each rally i think this is reaction going into Fed meeting this month i wouldn't go near it until a breakout on high volume at 26 area support at 200ma but you know i could be wrong i've been many times in my life...

Dollar erases gains at US noon amid Greenspan rumors

NEW YORK, Aug 11 (Reuters) - The dollar stood unchanged against the yen and euro at midday Wednesday after relinquishing its meager gains earlier on rumors Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan might resign.

Traders said the dollar and the Dow lost some ground on rumors the venerated Fed chief would step down sometime after the central bank's next monetary policy meeting on August 24. The Fed would not comment on the rumors.

``That seems to have caused the dollar to lose some of its bid tone,' one trader said. ``Any official at the Treasury or the Fed considering resigning would be dollar-bearish.'
