In various articles appearing over the last couple of months, management indicated that CTXS would not become an ASP, but would focus on being an enabler of ASPs.

if Citrix becomes a dominant player both in enabling technology and in application supply, we'd have a situation similar to the PC situation today. That's an awfully long stretch.

Don't forget that I was the one who speculated that Citrix's newly found millions raised from the convertible debt offering might be spent to purchase an ASP. Citrix becoming an ASP is not far off from your idea. We'll go down in infamy together. :)

What do you mean we'd have a situation similar to the PC situation today? Please explain? Price War? CTXS another MSFT, the supplier of the enabling tools for Windows? I dont see what you meant to say.
