Great job, Bill. Once Geoffrey and his gang start doing dd on Q, I'm pretty sure they will come to the same conclusion that we have. While we don't need their confirmation, it would be nice... a kind of independent audit.

Can you supply the url to their discussion thread?

Frank

LindyBill,

Great post. I agree with Uncle Frank. It is great to hear Mr. Moore's comments and I think he summed it up perfectly with his last statement,"This is smelling large primatish(sp?) indeed."

Nice to have the guy who wrote the book agreeing with us.

Couple of comments on Moore's response:

He does not seem to really have a handle on Q yet, but he is getting there. His comments on "GSM3" reflect that.

He has come a long way from his initial response a few months ago in an understanding of Q.

I do not have the URL for his email board, but I am trying to get it at present.

LindyBill,

<< MORE FROM MOORE! >>

Great update from Geoff .... but I just read the revised "Chasm" cover to cover with the 1/3rd text changed from the 1991 edition and all the new examples to substitute for the Wangs & Zilogs of the 80's.

No mention of Qualcomm.

No mention of Wireless Mobile Telephony & Data Services.

I am a fan ... but on this subject Geoff is clueless.

Hey Guys,

<<<This is smelling large primatish indeed>>>

If it looks like a gorilla, smells like a gorilla...
need I say more?

Best,

Glenda
