While everyone's in a slightly better mood (hopefully)...

The CF Conference in NY (two weeks from this Friday) -- just wonderin' how things are shaping up...

Last I spoke with RonS, he seemed a bit under the weather in terms of a less-than-stellar turnout. For those of you who attended last year, you know what a valuable, informative experience it was.

Speaking for myself, I had a great weekend and got to spend alot of time with Allan Shulman (CFO), Pete and even Sharon Osberg from Wells Fargo. Not to mention getting the opportunity to attach faces and names to some of the more onery characters here on the thread, like August West, Benny Baga, Robert Gintel, RonS, AE and BGluck, to name a few. And you couldn't beat the golfcart races...<g>

For those of us with any kind of real money in this stock, this is the type of once-in-a-lifetime (ok, maybe twice) opportunity to get some real insight to the inner workings of this company and be privvy to the types of presentations that are made to Wall Street types all the time.

Certainly, if you've made any $$ on this stock before the "slide" (or are fortunate enough to have a low cost basis), you owe it to yourself to dial in to Travelocity and just DO IT -- spring for a ticket or two to the Big Apple and spend some time with the company.

BTW -- this is all being done as a "labor of love," as far as I know -- CF does this to show its appreciation for the efforts of this thread and the unique feedback it provides to the company.

Feel free to private post RonS if you'd like to attend. I would also encourage others who attended last year to share their experiences to try to make this another top-notch weekend...
