I think Bush is ok, but I wonder why the republicans confined themselves to one candidate so early out of the gate. Both Dole and McCain have a following so why not just let things play out? As it stands they have angered the far right such that some of them have gone on Larry King and blasted their own party... that NH guy did that (Smith), this is bad for business.... there is no chance anyone extreme like Quayle or Smith can win so why make a big deal out of it? BTW I think if some of Bush's past gets unearthed its going to be one of these far-right idealogues that does it and not Salon or any dem.
