If you actually sit through the eOne tour, it smacks of "wannabe" iMac-envy. Even at the conclusion of the video, the first word to come up is "Think."

Think what? The same or "Think Different"?

eOne then adds "Work. Play." to Think, but if you're the marketing people on this venture, you've got to notice that, and the color and the shape are all iMac.

If you're Apple, do you sue over eMachines infringing on last-year's technology?

<<Bill. If, after waiting all these years for you to buy a new Mac, you go ahead and buy a Windows knock-off, you're gonna break my heart. You, of all people, should know better. At these prices, the least you can do is buy one of each.>>

I dunno, my IIsi is doing pretty well outfitted with 4 gig SCSI drive, external CD ROM and Jaz, 32 MB of RAM. The Virtual IO glasses that I have on it do well to replace an actual 27 inch monitor. I'm sure the 33.6 modem could do better with a faster processor though.

I still have to get around to overclocking it. Unfortunately, I have to actually desolder the clock chip and replace it with one to bring it up in Mhz. I would still probably need to add extra fans or a water-cooling for that old Motorola processor though.

Maybe it is time to get a new computer.
