Strongly suspect they are going to buy.. Similar to the JDSU boys, just something or some things cheaper (300 vs 800M). The acquisition of IOC was brilliant, and I suspect they want to add to it. Their offerings in the 1300 and 1550 nm markets are zippo, so maybe a vendor in that technology? That would make sense, since I believe they (SDLIO) presently must buy their lasers outside...(not sure of this)...so depending on price and terms, we could see some earnings erosion in the next quarter or two, but well worth it IMHO... -Own
