Mike,

I read the Northern Trust articles daily. He mentions inventory profits related to oil. What about fed induced trading profits at all the banks and brokers, the 1998 writedowns and big baths, and the greater use of stock options. This bull market would impress Houdini with its ability to produce illusions.
