>>>>>The trend is clear Marty...don't kid yourself. I've been paying 5 cents a minute since early this year through ATT Lucky Dog. <<< Who's kidding who, Steve? With Lucky Dog, 5 cents per minute only applies to connections that start and terminate within the state of California. You still pay 10 cents per minute for all calls placed from California to any other state. The rest of the country with 2 exceptions pays double for in-state calls and Texas pays triple. All calls placed from California (or any state) to any other state in the Union costs double what your post implies. I'm certain that International rates are also significantly more expensive than with IDTC. To summarize: Calls within California 5 cents per minute Calls within Michigan and Illinois 7 cents per minute. Calls within Texas 15 cents per minute All other in-state calls are 10 cents per minute All State to State calls are 10 cents per minute. IDTC , unlike ATT, dba Lucky Dog, isn't ashamed to put their name on their website. IDTC, unlike ATT, doesn't have many rates for the ill-informed and one rate for the cognoscenti (10-10-345). I'm sorry if this information doesn't help your short position on IDTC. BTW, I've never bought into your "helping" demeanor. How much does it cost to use 10-10-345? A. When you dial 10-10-345, you pay 10 cents a minute for state to state calls, 24 hours a day 7 days a week, with a 10 cent connection fee per call. For calls made within your state, or for international rates, please check our rates page. luckydog.com I was told the in-state rates over the phone but couldn't confirm them at the website because I keep getting this error at the Lucky Dog website using MISE 5.0 with cookies enabled: ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd' Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted; the operation requested by the application requires a current record. /asp/rates.asp, line 180
