<<i want solid stocks the SEMIS are just awesome... >>

Yeah, I hear you Jerry. Though I'm kicking myself for selling 1/2 of my CY position late last week and adding to my NOVL holdings =;-( At least I got my CY double in just 3 months!

Nonetheless, it appears that chips are ripping and roaring, while softwares (MSFT, ORCL, NOVL, BMCS, etc) are dead quiet. That's the time to accumulate softwares IMHO. At least for buy and hold over 3+month period. They and even the internets will kick in hard by early Sept IMO. Chips should take a breather soon. At least that's what my common sense says, although I've learned that the rubberband stretches to the upside beyond what appears to be fair value. Incredible chip sector rotation, which was well established in May, and held on through the thick and thin of nasdaq correction. Semi's have become the "new" tech leaders over the past 3 months, thanks in part to recovering Asia, and the growth in computers/internet/telecom/appliances using chips
