I told all you guys yesterday that the market will look to CSCO to rally them on! CSCO didn't let anyone down either! They never do!

>>P.S. GOLDMAN SACHS ANALYST TO DISCUSS CISCO SYSTEMS

vcall.com

Excellent interview. Thanks.

Observations:

Sales accelerated at an astonishing rate. Operating margins went up to 27.9%, reversing the trend of the past five quarters. Receivables down to an incredible 32 days, about 1/3 of the old world practice. Cisco is a cash machine.

Analyst agrees that Cisco's deal with KPMG is superior to LU's w/ INS - doesn't like the old style vertical integration.

Europe was incredibly strong, Asia rebound came earlier than expected for Cisco. Cisco is planning for only 3% growth from Oct to Jan qtr due to Y2K - very conservative, analyst thinks there will be little slowing for Cisco.

Trend to packet switching goes to Cisco strength as the leader, also strong in optical. Juniper is watched by Cisco but Juniper won't hurt Cisco, just Cisco's competitors who will never find a market.

Cisco is stronger and better positioned than LU and NT in the relevant markets.

Cisco's PE is justified by its size, position and growth rates. Cisco keeps exceeding expectations. Cisco is a recommended buy.
