Good point.
The bull run for that sector was thanks to Billery Clinton scaring the investors out of that sector with health care reform in the early 90's and the realization that deadlock would mean no National Health Package meant these companies could get good prices. They rose accordingly.

Now they are in a bear again as fears of Federal Dollars For Drugs Medicare policy will cut into profits. Jeepers - Isn't good health a right for all and the drug companies shouldn't profit much for risking all that money on research and the law suits if they are wrong and release early? Congress is leaning this way again so the stocks are down. I have problems investing in areas that are so well controlled by politics. Nobody is going to die because they only have 32Meg ram in their PC vs a hot new 128Meg SIM. This makes investing easier.

Maybe we need to discuss tops and taking profits and how to ride the wave and yet be ready for it to break?
