370 mill market value with 11 mill in sales, what am I missing?

Since when have we priced tech stocks based on current earnings, vs. potential? Especially on IPO day. :-) Still... Does seem high. Until you think about Micro$oft.

Your missing the boat is what is currently happening. RHAT represents so much to so many.

Where are you getting your $370M number? I thought page 5 of the prospectus said there were 66,579,704 shares out (undiluted). If this is the case, times 52 gives a market value of $3,462,144,608.

I tell you this company is not even close to being worth $3.5 billion, not even close! That's not to say that i don't think it will trade higher in coming days, but I'm just saying it's not worth $3.5B. Anyway, what a ripoff! Anyone trading this stock needs to be ready to pull the plug at a moments notice. At MOST, this guy should trade around 25.

Boy, I wish I worked at RedHat so I could be ripping off investors too!
