Michelle, what screen are you looking @. This looks a I-net rally to me. Even my Dscm is up a point over my last little dabble.
Ps

I think this is difficult to call. The case for the bull's is:

-Good 10 year note auction today
-Likely good 30 year note auction tomorrow
-Good beige book statistics

Seems like there is no more negative news to absorb before Aug 24 - and it seems like everyone knows we're going to get a .25% hike on the 24th. Of course, the case for the bear's is the one I've been stating all along:

-net stocks are over-valued
-Y2k uncertainty
-money flowing out of US (weak dollar)

And then there are some international political concerns (if they have value in pricing stocks):

-Continued tensions between India and Pakistan
-North Korea making threats to Japan
-Russia falling apart (politically and economically)

I think I'll just bide my time and wait (perhaps focus more time on my consulting practice).
