Thanks for the response ZM,

I make observations, and do not say they are "right" or "wrong".. They are just my perceptions of realty as expressed through this medium... they are generalizations
based on my readings of various SI boards..

As for vinyl vs, cds, I do not have that keen of ear.. not as keen as my readings of SI.. haha..

Anyway I will move on.. and jump through Rambi's window
again and land amidst... her guests.. when I see something, I thinks amiss..

thanks.....the coug..

about as welcome as a stray cat at a cat show..

The next audio standard will probably be 24/96, i.e. 24-bit words and 96 KHz sampling.
I'll say that even the current 16/44 CD standard can be made to sound wonderful through a good set of decoding and playback hardware. But a GOOD set costs as much as a car ... and you have to go to some out-of-the-way retailers to audition it.
