steve, I was wondering if I could get a comment from you. I have an account with Brokerage firm X. A while back I traded BEAM in my margin account. BEAM is on their clearing house list as being marginable but somehow on their "lan" (what I was told)it is not marginable. The customer service department told me they have a call into their compliance department to see what is going on because they don't understand it either. I have been put on a 90 day restriction because they said I was free riding which would not have been true if it was marginable. I called about this 2 weeks ago with not hearing anything back and assumed I was OK (wrong assumption). Two days ago I traded it again and got a house call even though it is marginable. I called them yesterday afternoon (12:30) and they said they would get back to me. I received an email at 6:15 last night saying it was still unresolved. My account is all tied up because of this. My question is just how long should this take to resolve?TIA
