Only have one female partner and she's my wife. Sure as heck ain't barefoot either. Came home with a pair of $200 sandals the other day.

Oh well, guess I can put some fresh duct tape on my old sneakers and make 'em last another 5 years.

Amazing!!! You see the death penalty and abortions as equivalent. We agree. No dichotomy here. I see the death penalty as appropriate for crimes that society has no effective means to deal with. The crime of the fetus is.....? BTW do you have a browser keyed in to the word abortions?

<<If Colorado supports the death penalty (which is against the personal convictions of many people) then they should also support abortions. >>

So you are saying a mass murderer and a fetus that has never drawn a breath are equally as guilty?

Comparing the death penalty to abortion is a ridiculous stretch, even for you. The death penalty is to rid society of brutal, intentional, murderers, convicted by 12 peers, and, in most cases, sentenced by 12 people, not just one judge. Since this penalty is to punish, in the most ethical way (an eye for an eye, etc) those who premeditatedly take another life, perhaps this same judgement should be used for those who request a voluntary abortion and those who perform the grisly deed...TD

If you're going to equate the two, then one could similarly equate non-abortion (or adoption) to a life sentence. And many abortion supporters love life sentences since death is cruel and unusual punishment and that death is rendering judgment that man should not be allowed to make. But that is someone else's opinion, right?
