Don't know how this piece of news affects the overall equation.

My guess is that S3 is actually stronger than the market has been giving
it credit for.

I think that today's action was in response to a general upswing in the markets and the realization that it was a good time to pick up some S3 for a bargain. Most of the other graphics related chip stocks also turned around today after being down this morning. S3 and Nvidia started up and finished strong. I am wondering what deals KP has up his sleeve since I doubt that he is done. Maybe some word has leaked out about some deal or some good S3 sales numbers. Lets hope. I am pleased that S3 now participates in a market upswing compared to the months and months where S3 was ignored or went down on good days. Guess that means that S3 has at least a little respect now and somewhat of a following.
