"What's amusing me is Broadcom (BRCM). Because of the "com" in the name, every guy on Wall
Street thinks it's an internet stock. So, it actually trades like one! It's a chip company."

I don't think you're giving people enough credit. Broadcom gets treated like an internet company because it makes chips that go into broadband solutions like ADSL and cable modems. 50+% growth doesn't hurt either. As the internet explodes into broadband, Broadcom will explode along with it.

Besides, BRCM's PEG, while high (3.15 by my method of measuring) is not as high as your typical internet pure play (like Yahoo--5.41)
