re: "...so many institutions and their analysts hold Intel that it won't die easy."

Ever see a lot of broad shouldered large individuals try to get through a small and shrinking doorway simultaneously? STAY TUNED!!!! Things may get very exciting.

You have one advantage over these guys. You can move your shares without disturbing the market. That is, unless you own as many iNTEL shares as does pAUL.

re: "I have no idea where INTC and AMDs stock prices will cross. My WAG is that it will be between 50 and 100 if it happens. May never happen, Intel could always reverse split you know."

My time horizon is relatively long. Unless I see a meaningful negative change in AMD's prospects I expect to hang on to it for at least three to five years if not indefinitely. The earliest that I look for the crossing would be Q 1 of the year 2,000. As we all know the stock market is about as logical as a nuthouse on ball bearings and a lot can happen between now and then. From my limited view, however, everything is now in place for that grand event.
